Ofsted Report

We are a GOOD school!

Goose Green Primary joined The Communitas Education Trust in September 2017 and received their Ofsted report in February 2020.

The report reflects the hard work that the children and Goose Green team have been doing over recent years and we’re delighted to share that they’ve concluded that our school is Good and also gave positive feedback about the further improvements that the school is making.

In their report Ofsted have highlighted that:

“Goose Green Primary School is a safe, happy place where pupils achieve well and become confident, respectful citizens.”

“Leaders have put together careful plans to make sure that pupils achieve well in a wide range of subjects.”

“Leaders have high expectations and plans are ambitious. Teachers try their best to make lessons enjoyable and interesting. Pupils enjoy topics which are planned around well-chosen children’s literature.”

We’d like to say a huge thank you to the whole school team, to Goose Green families and children past and present, and also to everyone in the wider East Dulwich community for the support you’ve provided for our wonderful school. Whether you’ve come along to take part in our annual summer carnival on Goose Green itself, sponsored school events, or provided opportunities for our children to visit your business and learn about your work - it all makes a huge contribution to our fantastic journey of improvement.

Parent View

Parent View gives you the chance to tell Ofsted what you think about Goose Green Primary and Nursery School.

The questionnaire is also the main mechanism for you to give your views about the school to inspectors at the time of a school inspection.

Parent View asks for your opinion on 12 aspects of your child’s school, from the quality of teaching, to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour.

To register on the Parent View website, you must initially enter an email address, and confirm that you are a parent or carer. You will also be asked to clarify how many schools your children attend (allowing for different children at different schools). An email is then sent to the specified email address to verify the account. On verification you are prompted to select a secure password for your account.

Registered users can sign up to receive an email when the results for a specific provider become publicly available and, after this, when a response is completed.

You can find out more on the Parent View website.
