School Tours

Please join us for one of our socially distanced events on 17th December and 7th January.

The events starts at 09:30am with a talk and tour with the Head Teacher and other members of the Goose Green team. It lasts about an hour.

Please make sure that you book a date because we must limit the number of visitors in order to ensure social distancing whilst you are on site. Adults will be asked to wear a mask.

Virtual Tours

We are holding virtual Q&A sessions with our Head Teacher, Mr Wattam, for you to ask any questions that you might have about Goose Green.

The last of these sessions will be at 14.00 on 7th January.

Admissions Policy

We welcome children to the Nursery from the September after their third birthday. All children in England in this age group are entitled to 15 hours free nursery funding a week. This national funding scheme at Goose Green is taken over three days, Monday to Wednesday 9am to 3.20pm.

Nursery Admissions are managed by the school and not the Local Authority. If you would like to apply for a place in our Nursery for your child please complete an admissions form and return to the school office by 30th April of the year of entry. You can download the admissions form and privacy statement or call into the school office to collect a hard copy.

We welcome children to our Reception class in September. Children start Reception in the September after their fourth birthday. The admissions process is managed by Southwark Council and applications must be made online.

Applications should be made by January prior to the next September intake. Families will receive notification of the outcome of the application on National Offer Day, 16th April, directly from Southwark Local Authority. Late applications should also be made online.

In-Year Admissions

In-year applications should be made directly to the school. For children moving from another Southwark school, a Southwark In-Year Transfer form must also be completed.
